Eligibility and Conditions: Artists may enter up to three pieces of art. All mediums are accepted. All art must be original and created within the last 5 years. Reproductions and prints will not be accepted. We reserve the right to reject art not suitable for our audience. All art must be for sale.

Size: Artwork over 36 inches in height or width will be considered oversized and will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. All hanging artwork must weigh under 20 lbs. Installation art will be considered on a case-by-case basis. All freestanding artwork must weigh under 50 lbs. All artwork must be able to fit through a 33” x 80” door.

Presentation: All artwork must appear finished. Works must be framed or gallery-wrapped and wired for hanging to professional standards. All works must be wired appropriately for hanging, using D rings and weight-appropriate wire that is not visible when the painting is hung. Paintings on canvas can either be framed or gallery-wrapped. No wet paintings will be accepted. Pedestals are available for 3D art.

 Pickup: All rejected artwork must be picked up within 5 days of rejection notification. All accepted artwork must be picked up within 5 days of the show’s end. Artwork may be picked up during gallery hours or by appointment. All artwork not picked up within these windows will incur a $10/day storage fee.

Non-refundable Submission Fee: $25 per piece/ $35 per oversized piece

Payment Methods: Cash or Card

Commission: 25% of sales price

Sales Payment: A check can either be picked up in person or will be mailed within 60 days of sale.

Liability: Every care is exercised in the handling of artworks, but Icon Modern Art Gallery is not responsible for loss or damage, whatever the cause. Concerned artists should carry their own insurance.

Taxes: Icon Modern Art Gallery acts as the agent for the artists to submit, exhibit, and sell artwork. Sales tax is collected and paid on each sale. Artists are responsible for compliance with income tax filing requirements related to the sale of their artwork.
